I lead change by engaging and influencing people to inspire a culture of curiosity. In addition, I understand the importance of leveraging data, careful monitoring of progress, assessing risks, and anticipating difficulties to ensure objectives are achieved. Influential leadership, networking and collaboration skills have enabled me to deliver systems-level changes in the fields of mental health (resilience), emergency management, public health and pandemic research capacity building. My experience in designing and evaluating systems-based solutions has enabled me to successfully address system failures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in organizations. At the team level, I have demonstrated results in building, training and maintaining effective teams. Of critical importance to me, I have been able to use my skills and influence to help develop individuals through mentoring, performance management and recruitment.
